Kempische ham met vijgen

Our Kempen Ham is a typical regional speciality with its own unique flavour. This traditionally hand prepared raw ham, dry salted, cured and smoked on beech wood, has a surprisingly soft and mild flavour.

Recipe: Starter of Kempen Ham, served with Rucola lettuce, figs and goats cheese Remove the stalks from the lettuce. Make the dressing from the olive oil, Balsamic vinegar, salt, pepper, chopped onion and icing sugar, and mix well. Peel the fresh figs and cut them into slices. Cut the goats cheese into small cubes. Place the dressed lettuce in the middle of the plate, then add the slices of Kempen Ham, figs and cubes of goats cheese. Garnish with a sprig of chervil.
