Our Coburger Ham is made from the very best cuts from the ham. These specially selected pork cuts are processed according to the best traditions of henri van de bilt vleeswaren. The ham is salted by hand, cured using herb aromas including juniper berries, smoked on smouldering beech wood chips, then slowly dried in our climate controlled areas. This gives our Coburger Ham its rich and pure characteristic flavour.
Recipe: Main course of Coburger Ham served with asparagus and potato salad Peel the asparagus and cook it for 15 minutes in salted water, then allow to cool in the liquid Hard boil the eggs and then chop finely. To make the potato salad, cut the potatoes into cubes and boil in salted water, then allow to cool. Add the onion, bacon cubes, crème fraiche and mayonnaise to the potatoes and eggs, mix together and season with salt and pepper. Chop the herbs. Make a dressing of oil and vinegar, add the herbs and season with salt and pepper. Place the asparagus with the heads to the bottom right of the plate.
Place the Coburger ham to the top left of the plate. At the top of the plate, place two scoops of the potato salad. Then spoon the dressing over the dish.
